We are looking to help people move the way the market should work.
How are our products like the Mortgage for Movers different from others in the market?
The Mortgage for Movers product removes one of the most common contingencies in purchasing a home, which is they have to sell their house first. This gives buyers more confidence when they go house hunting. Onward is the only company in the market that allows people to move this way and it is revolutionary.
Is there anything that has surprised you about Onward?
There were several things that I was pleasantly surprised by when I joined Onward. The biggest thing for me was about Onward’s culture including everyone’s desire in the company to do well and support each team member not just when you first join the company, but every day.
Additionally, there is a true desire to be solution-oriented so that all areas of the market are served.
Going further, Onward values the real estate agent’s relationship with their clients and emphasizes that our job is to help that relationship last more than this transaction.
What would you tell other salespeople about joining Onward?
The product offerings from Onward allow you to offer solutions to mortgages that are visibly different than every other lender and therefore gives you a better base to compete from.
With the purchase market being very difficult for buyers right now, what advice do you have for them?
Get yourself pre-approved before shopping. The market is moving so fast that you want to be able to pull the trigger as soon as possible. Onward has products that can help you become even more attractive to the sellers but being prepared is required to remove financing and sales contingencies from your offers.
